HOW TO SUPPORT THE CAMPAIGN

As a striker:

  • You can continue to strike and make as much noise as possible whilst doing so. Check our resources section on the site to see what comms you can send to your housing company.

  • Show off the fact that you're on strike, make a banner telling Sanctuary Students where to go and if you're still living in halls then hang it out your window for everybody to see. Need inspiration? Check out Liberate the University's guide on banner making for some ideas!

  • Contact your school administration and Students' Union and demand they support their students in this issue. Explain your situation, and ask that they advocate on your behalf!

  • Get in contact with the organising team and see how you can get involved. We always have work to do, and would love your help!

  • Fill out the Legal Representation Information Form.

As a supporter:

  • You can share the articles we've been featured in on your social media and tell as many people as possible about it.

  • Tweet at the housing companies telling them to do the right thing, these companies have huge PR operations and don't like to be embarrassed.

  • Visit the housing companies' accounts on social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) and demand they respond to the strike. A list with links to these pages will be made available soon on our Resources page.

  • Get in contact with the organising team and see how you can get involved. We always have work to do, and would love your help!
